big day
today i transfered the final amount of money from my checking to savings account to finally reach the goal i set before which i would not travel. or rather, after which, i WOULD travel. which means, i am, by my own definition, financially ready to take flight.

Congrats on the successful financial planning. I suppose you're talking about going to Geneva?
I actually just got back yesterday from Rory & Henriikka's place, and it was a brilliantly relaxing and centering week. They're both very sweet and interesting people... if you want to know anything (or if you want to see pictures without having to wade through all my touristy facebook photos, if they ever even make it to facebook) feel free to ask. I might go back sometime between terms, so maybe our paths will cross there -- the only thing missing was someone else who spoke English whenever conversations were occurring in French, so personally I think that would be fabulous.
How long are you planning on staying? They had mentioned you were coming in May... I'm sure it'll be absolutely beautiful in the warmer months.
